The Marshal Home This site is dedicated to the short-lived series (though it did manage two seasons) The Marshal, starring Jeff Fahey and Patricia Harras as Winston and Sally MacBride. 
Jeff Fahey and Patricia HarrasWhy they are the best:  He was the diametric lawman - a lone hunter who absolutely adored his wife and daughters.  She was a working wife and mother (it was never specified exactly what her job was) who loved her husband enough to put up with his frequent absences with humor and understanding.
Favorite moment:  At the end of “Natural Law,” watching their daughters on stage.  He has returned from his latest assignment with a broken ankle.  Without words they convey their love for one another and their children.
And they lived happily ever after...in Virginia with their three children.  He remained a Marshal, though eventually took a desk job.
